A community collaboration to equip students & families for a successful school year!

9am to noon @ Nevada Union High School

In addition to FREE backpacks & school supplies, the day will include games for the children, groceries for families, access to community resources, and free lunch and ice cream for all!

Last year, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, schools, nonprofits & volunteers, we provided: 

• 800+ backpacks filled with school supplies
• 650 pairs of shoes
• 2,000 bags of groceries
• Free haircuts and family resources
• A fun and welcoming environment for more than 2,500 attendees

This year, we’re aiming even higher and hoping to double our impact — but we can’t do it alone! We need partners like you to help make this event a success. There are many ways to get involved. Read on...

• Sponsor this event, which will enable us to buy over 1,500 backpacks and school supplies, along with 1,200 pairs of shoes and 2400 pairs of socks.

• Donate backpacks, school supplies, or other useful items to help get students ready for school.

• Volunteer to work the event helping to distribute backpacks, assist with activities, set-up and clean-up, or welcome families.

• Provide services such as haircuts, community resources, or entertainment.

• Coordinate an area — this is a huge event and it will require a lot of volunteer leadership   .
